Just play your AHL team tonight, rest the squad and let your young'ns gain valuable experience in an NHL game. |

The Leafs are so scared to face the B's in the first round they decided they'd rather not be in the playoffs at all. |

Detroit wins 1-0 in a shootout?
My fantasy team would accept that, so long as Rask gets the shutout. |

Glad to see Bart getting the night off, he really has slipped over the past 4 weeks, he really needs to step up his game, too many mental mistakes, stupid giveaways just losing the puck off his stick in the defensive zone this poope can't happen in the playoffs. I think Mez has the inside track over him at this point which is a shame because he has had a strong season.
Cheers !! |

I'm more interested in watching Nyquist play than anything else to be honest. |

Danny always gets a breakaway, ..
sadly he was given bricks instead of hands, but he'll have some one on one time with Howard.
Yeah, Nyquist is on a roll, esp where this could be a first round matchup very much looking forward to see how htey handle him.

"Iginla’s hot streak pushed him to 30 goals in 2013-14, becoming just the third 30-goal scorer in the Julien Era of Bruins hockey (Phil Kessel had 36 in 2008-09, Lucic had 30 in 2010-11)."
I still have trouble wrapping my head around that one. |

Stone hands Paille...He's the favorite player of one the guys I play in beer league with. Always give him poop for that.
Haven't been following much of Detroit hockey honestly. Are they still mostly the Grand Rapids Red Wings or have they got some of their guys back? |

Something I'm sure Michael Felger will have an epic douche out over at some point. |

Even with Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Alfredsson and Ericsson out, I think it'll be a tight game. |

Yes... you're still watching the Grand Rapids Red Wings. Still have 5 of our top players out (including Zetts and Datsyuk).
Heck of a fun game to watch. I picked the Bruins to win tonight.. glad I was wrong. Nyqyust is really on a tear ! Wings fans are hoping Pulkinen will be the next Nyquist (similar type player in Grand Rapids). Wings still desperately need a Lucic type player to help balance out their roster. |

even though they ended up scoring on the same PP, how the hell was the goal by krug waved off?! The ref was so emphatic in waving it off as well, that he clearly had to see something. Would love to know what is was?
I kind of agree with hamilton, kind of baffling they lost that game. It will be very interesting to see what detroit does when everyone comes back, the guys they called up seemed to be the only ones carrying the team. |

Agree with you here... I didn't see any interference on Howard. Goal by Krug should have been allowed. Unless the Ref saw something I didn't. At least the Bruins took care of business and still scored anyway.
Most likely when the key Vets come back Bertuzzi will be on the bench. Hoping Babcock will send Glendening back down to Grand Rapids (where he belongs). For sure there will be a logjam of good players. But I don't see all of them coming back at once... From what I'm hearing I think Datsyuk or Alfredsson will be the first to come back. I think Weiss and Zetterberg are likely out for the season and playoffs (but we'll see). Weiss can stay gone as far as I'm concerned (huge payroll hit... and looking to be a terrible free-agent signing by Holland). Let's see what he can do next season if he ever gets healthy again. |
